Having recently begun the restoration & conversion of a 1970s Bedford TK to a Motorhome to attend shows to promote my business, I was keen to have some traditional sign writing completed on the cab to finish the job.
Having approached some local sign writers dealing with commercial vehicles it became apparent that I really needed a specialist to carry out the work to the high standard I wanted for the lorry.
After finding Carole on the net, we had a meeting and discussed the options for the lorry. Immediately it was obvious she had a real passion for her work, as well as a vast depth of knowledge & practical experience in dealing with this kind of project. After our initial meeting I was happy to leave the project with Carole, to design & carry out the work to achieve the impact I had asked for.
Throughout the time she had the doors I was regularly contacted to make sure I was happy with progress and to have any queries or ideas confirmed to make sure the signage was as I wanted.
On completion of the work I was absolutely thrilled with the finished job. Completed to an exceptional standard, quicker than I had expected and, as I had hoped, really finished off the build & raised the whole standard of the lorry.
I really can’t recommend Carole enough. A truly talented crafts person with a genuine passion for her work & lovely person to deal with. I’m glad I found her & will definitely be using her for any future projects.

The children and staff at St John’s have worked incredibly hard to design and build a Spiritual and Sensory garden at the centre of the school site. The inspiration for part of the garden was the poem ‘Footprints in the Sand’ and the children desperately wanted this to be represented in some way. We came across Carole and her talent for sign writing and we are so glad that we did. Carole interpreted the ideas generated by the children in a very creative and meaningful way. By using a large blank wall, she has produced some of the words using the contours of waves, by taking on the shape and flow of the pathway below. This has totally transformed the area and it is lovely to see the children reading the very poignant verse as they travel along the pathway. This has really enhanced the space and we are already thinking of other ways in which we can engage Carole’s creative talents here at St John’s! Thank you Carole for your attention to detail, flexibility about working on site, and your skills to translate ideas into reality!

Over the last 40 years various people had added names to our Past Masters’ (Honours) Board leaving the right side panel in a sorry state. Once it had been stripped and re-lacquered it was necessary to find a professional Signwriter Who could re-apply the names in a uniform style, yet in keeping with that of the 50 other names on the left side of the Board. Carole was recommended and from her initial visit it was evident we were in very capable hands. Her understanding of the challenge ahead and the need for uniformity was apparent and her meticulous approach produced an outstanding result; on time and to budget. This happy customer is very pleased to offer testimony to her skill and professionalism.
